iHeartDogs Works with Audible, Inc. to Help Feed Hungry Shelter Dogs

For every free trial started, listeners will receive two complimentary audiobooks and help provide 10 meals to shelter animals

Anaheim, California (August 14, 2018) iHeartDogs.com, the leading profit for purpose pet goods manufacturer and e-commerce retailer today announced their program with Audible to feed 10 hungry shelter dogs for every free trial started.

In a recent study conducted by Audible and dog behaviorist Cesar Millan, 3 out of 4 dog owners who played audiobooks for their dogs reported an increase in calm, relaxed behavior in their pet. Dogs responded best to narrators of the same gender as their primary owner, played at average volume on an in-home listening device. Through this collaboration with iHeartDogs, Audible listeners can comfort their dogs while playing an audiobook the next time they step out and know their Audible experience helped filled the bellies of shelter dogs across the nation.

“Our company has always aimed to cater to pets and pet lovers and through this program we know we’re serving both while still staying true to our business model of giving back,” says iHeartDogs Co-Founder and COO, Marshall Morris. “When you shop iHeartDogs for your pet or yourself, you’re making a donation to a designated give-back program that helps change the lives of pets and people everywhere and we want our partnerships to also reflect that.”

With the 30 day trial membership new listeners can pick two complimentary audiobooks to play for their dog, set up a home listening device somewhere comfortable for their pet, and begin playing the audiobook a few minutes before leaving the house, giving caregivers peace of mind when leaving their dogs at home alone, knowing the dog will have the comfort of a human voice. The membership also includes one credit a month after the trial, good for any book regardless of price, ad-free, premium audio available offline, a personalized library, 30% off in exclusive member-only savings, and easy exchanges on books.

To get started, new Audible members can log into their Amazon accounts, sign up for a free 30-day trial, choose any two books to get started, download the free Audible app and start listening. To begin your Audible membership or learn more, visit www.audible.com/iHeartDogs.

Tomlyn® Completes its Equistro® Product Line of Horse Supplements with the Launch of Chrysanphyton

Equistro Chrysanphyton helps promote and support normal circulatory and vascular function in horses

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (August 8, 2018)Tomlyn®, a world-class developer of scientifically developed, veterinarian-approved animal health products, has launched a third Equistro® horse supplement, Chrysanphyton, completing its line of equine supplements first released in 2017.

“Launching and growing our line of health supplements for horses has been a major focus for Tomlyn over the past 12 months,” said Tabitha Cromer, marketing manager at Tomlyn. “We’re proud to announce that horse owners can now find our complete line of Equistro equine products, Artphyton, Secreta Pro Max and Chrysanphyton, in most major feed stores across the country.”

The most recently launched Equistro product, Chrysanphyton, is a daily equine supplement used to help promote and support normal circulation and vascular function. The supplement is made from the plant, Chrysanthellum americanum, which is dried and shredded. Like the plant, the Chrysanphyton supplement is rich in potent antioxidants. The supplement is formulated to give support to blood vessels, by keeping them healthy, and to promote the natural process of blood vessel dilation in horses.

“Our Equistro Chrysanphyton supplement can be used to support horses that are prone to lower leg and hoof problems, such as quarter horses, warmbloods or thoroughbreds,” said Dr. Jennifer Kasten, technical services veterinarian at Tomlyn. “Proper blood circulation is essential for the normal function of hooves in middle aged and older horses.”

Adult horses greater than 1,100 lbs. should be given one 20-gram scoop twice daily, which conveniently comes in pellet form. One bag of Chrysanphyton contains a 50-day supply at $129.00. Horse owners can find the supplement at most major feed stores in the United States.

Chrysanphyton recently launched at SuperZoo 2018 and received second place for new equine products in the New Product Showcase. Nearly 630 new products were submitted to this year’s showcase. Retailers and other industry professionals voted for their favorites during the Las Vegas trade show in June.

FWV Fetching Executes Public Relations Campaign to Support the ACVO®/Stokes RX National Service Animal Eye Exam Event for the Ninth Consecutive Year

FWV Fetching Executes Public Relations Campaign to Support the ACVO®/Stokes RX National Service Animal Eye Exam Event for the Ninth Consecutive Year

RALEIGH, N.C. (August 2, 2018)FWV Fetching, the pet and veterinary division of French|West|Vaughan (FWV), has successfully executed a public relations campaign to support the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists’® (ACVO®) 11th Annual ACVO/Stokes Rx National Service Animal Eye Exam Event for the ninth consecutive year.

Since the event’s inception in 2008, nearly 68,000 Service Animals including guide, disability assistance, detection, military, search and rescue and registered therapy animals, have received free screening eye exams – including more than 7,600 Service Animals this year alone. In addition to dogs, other formally trained Working Animals, such as horses, mini horses, donkeys, alpacas and cats have received the free sight-saving exams over the last decade.

FWV Fetching’s team of pet and veterinary marketers managed all external media relations initiatives to help support the event, which has resulted in a continued year-over-year increase of participating ophthalmologists and exam recipients.

“We are grateful to continue our partnership with an organization that recognizes the amazing work and dedication Service and Working Animals provide to those in need,” said Kristen Levine, senior vice president of FWV Fetching. “ACVO’s philanthropic focus perfectly aligns with our mission and we are excited by the opportunity to help increase this event’s participation and further its success year after year.”

This annual event was sponsored by the ACVO and Stokes Pharmacy, as well as several generous industry sponsors, ophthalmologists and staff. Participating ophthalmologists volunteer their services, staff and facilities at no charge to participate in the event. Over 300 board certified veterinary ophthalmologists throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Spain donated their time and resources to provide free eye exam screenings to thousands of eligible Service and Working Animals.

“Every year, we continue to see this event expand to additional clinics around the world and reach more Service Animals,” said Stacee Daniel, executive director of the ACVO. “It’s an honor to work with such passionate and dedicated ophthalmologists and to be able to assist these hard-working animals and their handlers for the past decade. The costs for both the Service Animals and their care can be  high, so to be able to obtain such an important screening examination at no cost can make a huge difference for many of the program’s recipients.”

About the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists®

Retail Conference Meets Vacation with Dogs for Pet Industry Professionals with Launch of Pet Boss Nation’s “Camp Pet Boss”

Retail Conference Meets Vacation with Dogs for Pet Industry Professionals with Launch of Pet Boss Nation’s “Camp Pet Boss”

Lake Delton, WI (July 27, 2018) — Pet Boss Nation, a coaching and consulting agency for small pet business owners, has announced its first annual Camp Pet Boss conference April 30 – May 3, 2019 in Lake Delton, Wisconsin, just outside of the Wisconsin Dells.

Camp Pet Boss will give pet professionals from all over the country the opportunity to learn about marketing, sales and leadership, all while spending important bonding time with their pets, mother nature and other industry professionals.

“According to a Dunn and Bradstreet survey reported in the Harvard Business Review, 90 percent of the small businesses that fail, do so because of a lack of skills and knowledge on the part of the owner,” said Candace D’Agnolo, Founder of Pet Boss Nation and Lead Business Consultant. “Through guest speakers, breakout sessions, group work and individualize planning, campers will walk away from Camp Pet Boss with a roadmap that will help their business be even more successful!”

It’s not going to be all work and no play! Camp Pet Boss will also facilitate bonding opportunities with dogs and other campers through activities like agility, yoga, hiking, canoeing, crafts, wine and beer tastings, paint your pet nights and more.

Ideal “Campers” are pet boutique and pet product retailers, doggy daycare and grooming salon owners, and even brands. For three days and four nights, they will learn the systems and strategies that successful businesses use to scale, increase revenue or help them get more of their precious time back.

Accommodations include cabin-like lodging, each with their own shower and bathroom. Campers can book single rooms or can share with up to three people. All dogs are welcome. Attendees without pets are also welcome and encouraged to join.

“I’m most excited about the moments when pet pros will have to stretch themselves, whether it’s tackling the rock-climbing wall, walking the high ropes course, or going LIVE on their social media profiles,” says D’Agnolo. “These experiences will challenge their courage, showing them it’s greater than their fears, allowing them to leave with a confidence to face any obstacle in their business. Really pushing themselves to the edge of possibility!”

Those interested in attending, can learn more about Pet Boss Camp at: www.camppetboss.com.

iHeartDogs Launches New Premium Home Collection, PACK&DEN

iHeartDogs Launches New Premium Home Collection, PACK&DEN

Collection of exceptional beds and throws provides meaningful impact and luxury to both pets and pet owners

Anaheim, California (July 19, 2018) — After four years as a leading pet goods manufacturer and e-commerce retailer, iHeartDogs.com has just launched PACK&DEN, a new premium home collection of exceptional dog beds and throws.

The PACK&DEN collection of all faux, vegan products are meticulously crafted to provide luxurious comfort to both dogs and dog lovers, doubling as high-quality decor for the household. The new line includes three Big Doggo Faux Fur Throws with odor control and a calming pack in Grey Wolf, Tawny Fox, and Ivory Llama in both medium and large sizes and four Little Pup Faux Fur Throws with odor control and a calming pack in Grey Wolf, Tawny Fox, Ivory llama, and Tan Llama in both small and extra small sizes. In addition, customers can also treat their smaller canines with Little Pup Faux Fur Memory Foam Beds also available in Tawny Fox and Grey Wolf in small.

“Most dogs love hanging out on furniture but we’ve noticed our customers often complaining about the doggy smell permeating the couch,” says iHeartDogs Co-Founder and CEO Justin Palmer. “We wanted to create products that were comfortable for our pets but luxurious enough to add into your home decor.”

Both throws and beds include sturdy faux suede backing and special easy to open velcro pockets with an odor eliminating activated charcoal bag and an aromatherapy felt heart insert to use with calming essential oils. Both beds and throws are easy to clean and machine washable. The new PACK&DEN collection will continue to follow iHeartDogs impact driven business model and will provide one warm fleece blanket to a shelter dog in need with each purchase.

“Dogs spend 80 percent of their lives lying down and whether they’re in shelters or have found their forever homes, they deserve to be comfortable,” says Palmer. “Through each purchase, our customers will be providing blankets that will help keep pets warm in an environment that’s not always temperature controlled. Often times a blanket is the closest thing they have to a proper bed and it’s usually the only possession a dog has while waiting for their forever home.”
