FREDERICK, MD (June 13, 2013) – Since her company began, celebrated artist Sara England has been partnering with rescue and animal welfare nonprofits in support of their efforts to create a healthier future for animals. Many of Sara’s new customers are rescue organizations – buying then selling Sara England Designs’ products and using the profits to support their missions.
Her ‘Rescue Party’ series consists of two designs—dogs and cats dancing or in a ‘rescue’ boat. Each has become the favorite gift of rescue organization. Both convey Sara’s message that our pets, just like us, are happy when they’re healthy, safe and loved.
Sara recently donated art to the Lab Retriever Club of the Potomac – Rescue. They used the art to make a quilt that was raffled. Among Sara’s dozens of philanthropic partners are: Morris Animal Foundation; Humane Society of Vero Beach; Mid-Atlantic Springer Rescue … Sara never says ‘no’ to a nonprofit’s donation request.
