PHOENIX (March 26, 2015) – Leading national event production company, Amazing Pet Expos, debuts its third two-day show in 2015 in Phoenix, Ariz. at the Westworld of Scottsdale on April 25 and 26. New to the official lineup this year are the stars from Animal Planet’s TANKED – Wayde King, Brett Raymer and Irwin Raymer – along with their crew from Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM), who will be on hand both days in order to sign autographs, take photos and meet with fans. The Phoenix Pet Expo also features returning spokesperson Shorty Rossi, of Pit Boss fame, where he, too, will interact with his fans and educate about Breed Specific Legislation and his work with Pit Bulls across the country.

“We’re excited to be part of the Phoenix Pet Expo this year!” says Irwin Raymer, featured star of TANKED. “We’ve received so much attention from our work. We’re just happy with what we do for people and that things are going well.”

The exposition also features a working dog course, presented by Delta Canine Services, where attendees will see trained dogs perform police protection and drug detection demonstrations throughout each day. Horses, Sugar Gliders and adoption advocacy are just a few of the topics attendees will learn about during the two-day event. The new format was added to accommodate all of the new entertainment aspects and to continue to reach more people, making an even larger impact in each community and further enhancing educational opportunities.

“We’ve received so many requests from exhibitors and attendees over the years about moving to a larger two-day show in order to reach more people and make a larger impact,” says Ethan Barnett, Vice President of Community Partnerships for Amazing Pet Expos. “A huge part of our initiative is to help people become better pet companions, and we felt that the addition of the extra day really helps with that. We’re so ecstatic to expand our format to further benefit local pet communities across the country. We can’t wait to unveil all of the exciting additions in 2015.”

The event is open to the public on Saturday, April 25 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, April 26 from 11am to 4pm. The Phoenix Pet Expo also features opportunities for attendees to explore nearly 100 exhibitors, Small Dog Races, education about exotic animals, and a mega-adoption area with more than 200 rescue pets available for adoption. Low-cost immunizations, discounted microchipping and free nail trims are available for all the furry friends who need them.

“Guests are always amazed at what these pet expos have to offer. An Amazing Pet Expo is a great socialization tool for your pets,” says Pit Boss’ Shorty Rossi. “And seeing so many kinds of different pet types and breeds at one event is really something to see! People might decide to go to a pet expo to just have fun with their pet, but they end up leaving with new knowledge on how to be the best pet owner possible – and they can take what they learned into their community and make a difference for all animals.”

This free, indoor and air-conditioned event attracts more than 20,000 attendees along with their furry, feathered and reptilian pals who are looking to enjoy a new and one-of-a-kind experience where all pets can enjoy a fun day or two out with their pet parent(s). All well-behaved pets are welcome, as long as they’re on a fixed lead (or in a carrier) and have proof of age-appropriate rabies vaccines.
