Pet-related companies PetSmart and BlogPaws recently revealed the two winners of their Build a Business Blog program.
Members of the BlogPaws Community had just over a month to submit entries, which were judged on blogging experience, blog originality and creativity, vision and future blog plan, and ability to participate in the grand prize. Ten finalists were selected by a panel of judges from PetSmart and BlogPaws and three guest bloggers. Finalists then submitted a two-minute video explaining why they should win.
The two grand prize winners named were Colby Morita of Puppy in Training and Annette Vivian of Snoopy’s Dog Blog. The two pet blog winners will be working with PetSmart on the Build a Business Blog program, during which they will learn how to turn a blog into an online business. The resulting case study will be showcased at the BlogPaws 2012 conference in June. Prize package includes conference calls, homework assignments, coaching and more.
“We received an amazing array of entries and the selection process was very intense. We have a growing, vocal, and remarkable community of pet lovers that attend our conference every year. This contest focused on pet bloggers who want to take their blogs to the next level,” BlogPaws co-founder Yvonne DiVita shared.
