P.L.A.Y. (Pet Lifestyle and You) is donating items to pet charities nationwide and auctioning off celebrity signature pet beds for the San Francisco SPCA as part of their philanthropic giving back this holiday season.

P.L.A.Y. is a company located in San Francisco, California, that was started with the inspiration of Momo the pug. Company founder, Will Chen, was unable to find the “perfect bed” for his picky pug, so his mission became creating luxurious pet beds designed with style, comfort, and that were planet friendly.

Chen reported in reference to the company’s donations, “When designing the program, we knew Petfinder was the ideal partner choice. With over 15 years of service and 13,000 participating shelters – The Petfinder Foundation will help us reach out and donate to a number of rescue groups around the country, not just the larger well-known organizations.”

P.L.A.Y. has partnered with Petfinder in launching the Warm Bellies Initiative so that homeless pets will have a warm and comfortable place to sleep. In addition, for every Artist or Original Collection Pet Bed purchased on (or from participating retailers), P.L.A.Y. will donate a special edition Chill Pad to the Petfinder Foundation. The company will work with thousands of shelters and rescue organizations nationwide in shared efforts with the Petfinder Foundation to distribute kennel mates to dogs in need.

Shelters receiving donations will be determined by P.L.A.Y., The Petfinder Foundation, and fans on Facebook. For more information about the company and to view their entire collection, visit Find them on Facebook at
