SAN DIEGO (September 30, 2014) – Local entrepreneur, Andy Smit, Founder and CEO of Furlocity, Inc., has been named a winner in the 2014 Pet Age Forty Under 40 awards program. The Forty Under 40 awards program honors dynamic men and women under the age of 40 who have been making headlines in their field and who share a commitment to business growth, to professional excellence and to the community. To qualify, a nominee had to meet selection criteria that included working in the pet industry and possessing significant authority for decision making within a company or organization.
Winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Laurie Johnson, Executive Director, Florida Little Dog Rescue; Nancy Hassel, Founder and President, Long Island Pet Professionals; and John Cullen, Principal, Bulldog Marketing & Sales.
“I feel genuinely privileged and honored to have been selected a winner for the prestigious Pet Age 2014 Forty Under 40 Award,” expresses Andy Smit, “I would not be in the position I am today had it not been for all the unwavering support given by my incredibly talented Furlocity team for which I am forever grateful!”
