NEW YORK (January 22, 2014) International Association of Pet Fashion Professionals (IAPFP) is pleased to announce the addition of dog fashion expert & writer, Jody Miller-Young, to its team. Miller-Young will be the monthly guest blogger for the new “Pet Fashion Wrap-Up”‘ column of the IAPFP blog. Her posts will keep people abreast of all things fashionable happening in the pet fashion world.

Ms. Miller-Young has a varied background that make her ideally suited for the position. Not only has she created her own line of couture pet fashion under the Couture by Sophie brand, she has her own editorial/blog dog fashion destination called Bark and Swagger. Additionally, her 30-year background in PR and marketing give her an edge in understanding the needs of the pet fashion professional.

Founder of International Association of Pet Fashion Professionals, Lauren Darr, commented, “I’ve been looking for a blogger to do a pet fashion wrap-up on a regular basis for a while. After talking to Jody, hearing her background, and reading ‘Bark and Swagger,’ I knew she’d be a wonderful fit.” Added Miller-Young, “When Lauren approached me with this idea, I was so excited. What could be a better forum for sharing my passion for creative and unusual pet fashion than with like-minded pet fashion professionals! I look forward to bringing fabulous and fun fashion to IAPFP readers each month.”

The first “Pet Fashion Wrap-Up” post is scheduled for January 23, 2014 and will continue on a monthly basis on the next to the last Thursday of each month. Her columns will also be a monthly topic of the weekly electronic newsletter starting the same week.
