Furlocity will ultimately be selected as a Gold, Silver or Bronze Pet Age Business of the Year Award winner in the program.
The prestigious awards program is produced by Pet Age, a national publication covering all things in the pet industry, providing the latest industry news and more. The Business of the Year awards program celebrates independent pet businesses for excellence and entrepreneurial success. Finalists were selected in 11 categories: Website, Aquatic Retailer, Boarding/Pet Day Care Facility, Natural Products, Pet Retailer (>$5M), Pet Retailer (<$5M), Philanthropic Programs, Reptile Retailer, Social Media Campaign, Training Facility and Veterinary Office.
Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Caitlyn Bolton, Pet Industry Sustainability Coalition, Cathy Calliotte, PIJAC, Laurie Johnson, Executive Director, Florida Little Dog Rescue, John Mack, Reptiles by Mack and Les Wilson, Cobalt International, Inc. The Business of the Year finalists will be profiled and the winners in each category will be revealed in the awards publication inserted in the August 2014 issue of Pet Age.
