BlogPaws, the first online pet community to establish an offline social media conference, is receiving an influx of media attention as the 2012 conference readies to launch in Salt Lake City.
VisitSaltLake.com has announced the conference on their website, where visitors can learn more about Salt Lake City and the array of offerings the city provides.
Salt Lake magazine, which offers advice on trends, dining, fashion, and regional information, has also featured BlogPaws. In their recently posted online article, they share, “When it comes to social media and pets the paws-ibilities are endless… The agenda includes celebrity guests like Kenn Bell, the man behind Animal Planet’s Hero Dogs of 9/11 and Betsy Saul, Co-founder of Petfinder.com. Bell is hosting a master class on how to create engaging pet videos and Saul is the Keynote Speaker. Tillman, a pup who holds the Guinness World Record for Fastest Skateboarding Dog, will also appear at the conference.”
Pet lifestyle expert, author, humanitarian and television personality, Wendy Diamond (Animal Fair), will be the emcee of the Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogger awards, where she will announce and award each of the winners in 12 categories of pet blogging and micro-blogging (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
The Minuteman Press has also given BlogPaws some media attention, with their recent article promoting the conference. “Taking place June 21st and continuing up until the 23rd, BlogPaws 2012 will give pet bloggers all the tools they need in order to get more out of their online endeavors. Although opening an account and setting up a blog is relatively easy, getting the attention of Internet users is an ongoing process,” the article shared.
