Aquatic Life, manufacturer of aquarium equipment and supplies, announced a redesign of the company’s website in an effort to better respond to the needs of its retailers and customers.

Owners David Troop and Michael Elliott have been involved in the aquarium industry for a combined 40 years and have experience in retail sales, aquarium maintenance, marketing, product development, and manufacturing. The company’s products debuted at Super Zoo tradeshow in 2008.

The company’s products are available from aquarium stores and pet stores throughout North America and they only sell their products to retailers, which they claim makes the products more readily available to hobbyists.  The new website features a fixture selection guide, online calculators, guarantee information, and special offers. In its retailer support section, the website boasts information for retailers who might be interested in becoming a dealer and/or being included in the online retailer directory.

Some of the website resources include online videos, downloadable spec sheets, and manuals. One of the newer sales support features available with the re-launch of the site includes a listing of marketing materials, update company information and job postings, press releases and the company’s history. As with many pet retailers, Aquatic Life added social networking features to its website.
