According to a release from Alltech, with the world population growing rapidly and projected to reach 9 billion people by the year 2050, technology and global food product must improve and increase.
With 100 presentations planned by a variety of industry experts, the symposium will also include breakout sessions in the domains of aquaculture, beef, dairy, equine, poultry, pig production, pet food and regulatory in addition to new areas of focus.

In the companion-animal area, topics planned include disease prevention through antioxidants, longevity of pets including cognitive protection, and how algae can assist in the way pet foods are formulated. A track of sessions is planned that will explore how to capitalize on companion animal nutrition.
