All American Pet Company, a broker organization that promotes All American Pet Company Products via national sales teams, has announced they will open an operational headquarters in Shawnee, Kansas, according to a report filed by AreaDevelopment.com.
The headquarters will be located in Perimeter Park and will add over 80 new employees. According to All American’s CEO, Barry Schwartz, the company’s growth necessitated a new facility. “Having visited several states and communities, we found Shawnee, Kansas, to be extremely welcoming and creative in meeting our space needs,” Schwartz reported.
Groups that assisted All American Pet Company in selecting Shawnee for their headquarters include the Shawnee Economic Development Council, the Shawnee City Council, and the Kansas Department of Commerce. Incentive package details were not disclosed.
All American reports they have formed relationships via their national sales team with mass merchants, big box stores, drug store, supermarkets, convenience stores, dollar stores, and truck stop facilities. Products are expected to be on store shelves at some point in April, 2012, per the company website.
Some of the company’s product line include Paw-itizer, designed as an antibacterial wash for dogs; cereal for dogs; protein and performance bars for canines; dry kibble and food bar with amino acids.
“I’m excited that Kansas was able to provide the right business environment to meet All-American’s expansion plans. I look forward to the company’s future growth in the state,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George.
