Vet2Pet Releases Breed Specific and Custom List Notifications for Veterinary Practice App
First Mobile App Platform to Deliver Targeted Notifications to Specific Breed Owners
Durango, CO (July 25, 2017) —Vet2Pet is transforming the way veterinary practices communicate with their clients with two new mobile app releases: breed specific and custom list notifications.
Vet2Pet builds branded apps that help veterinary practices connect with their clients and bond them to the practice. Their mobile app platform is the first to deliver breed specific targeted notifications to pet owners. Veterinary practices can now use their mobile app to send notifications to owners of over 100 canine and 10 feline breeds.
Vet2Pet founder, Dr. Stacee Santi, projects that “this new feature will really enhance the way veterinary practices deliver content to pet owners. Now veterinarians have the ability to make their clients aware of medical conditions, breed-specific risks and recommended diets. We continue to focus our development efforts on fostering the veterinary-client-patient bond.”
Custom list notifications let practices select specific groups of clients to communicate push notification messages to. This provides practices with the ability to deliver quick, targeted information that can focus on awareness, promotions and exclusive offerings. For example, a practice could create a list of patients that haven’t had a heartworm test, or a list of geriatric cats who haven’t had wellness bloodwork and send specific notifications to these groups to increase compliance.
There is no additional cost for these new features.
IT expert, digital marketer and industry thought leader Eric Garcia, CEO of Simply Done Tech Solutions, has this to say about the new app features: “This is a game changer in the world of veterinary marketing. This new feature will allow us to move away from generalized “dog” and “cat” only campaigns as they’re not nearly as effective as highly-targeted campaigns. We can now narrow down our messaging to effectively engage pet owners. This type of tool puts veterinary medicine ahead of human health care!”
The Vet2Pet mobile app, built specifically for each veterinary practice, also offers features such as a custom icon, personal notifications, and a loyalty program.
