CityVet Seeks Top Veterinary Talent at AAHA Nashville 2017 for Latest Expansions
Veterinary-Owned & Led Group has New Locations in Texas, Colorado, and Georgia with Unique Business Model
DALLAS, TX (March 27, 2017) – CityVet, a veterinarian-owned and veterinarian-led group of practices headquartered in Dallas, is expanding in Texas, Colorado, and Georgia with its unique business model that allows veterinarians to open and lead their own practices. The group will be seeking top veterinary talent at its booth (#1035) at AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) Nashville 2017, being held March 30-April 2. Each CityVet practice is comprised of three facilities: a high quality clinic; boarding, daycare, bathing and grooming; and a store offering recommended lines of pet essentials, food and supplies.
“We’re extremely excited to discuss our new and additional expansions into Dallas and Houston, Denver, and Atlanta at this year’s AAHA conference,” said Dr. Paul Kline, Chief Veterinary Officer at CityVet. “We provide the support – building the business, systems, products, marketing and operational efficiencies – while the doctor has complete liberty to make day-to-day medical and business decisions and have equity as a partner. It’s a business model that has proven successful for many veterinarians, as it allows them to focus on their core area of expertise – providing the best possible care for animals.”
Dr. Austin Neely, who is currently opening a new CityVet practice in Bedford, TX, concurs, “Working for CityVet has been a refreshing change of pace from my past employment. I enjoy the benefits a larger company offers, while still retaining the ability to practice medicine the way I feel is best for my patients. CityVet promotes a positive work environment that encourages me to build relationships with my clients personally, not just with the company.”
Those interested in any opportunities with CityVet are invited to visit its AAHA booth (#1035) or the website at: dvmcareers.cityvet.com.

Established in 1933 by leaders in the veterinary profession, AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) is the only companion animal exclusive veterinary association. AAHA is best known for its accreditation of companion animal practices.
To become accredited, companion animal hospitals undergo regular comprehensive evaluations by AAHA veterinary experts who evaluate the practice on approximately 900 standards of veterinary care. The Association also develops other publications and educational programs and resources designed to help companion animal hospitals thrive. The AAHA membership philosophy is team-focused, allowing every hospital staff member, from veterinarians to receptionists, to benefit from AAHA’s resources through one group membership. Today, over 3,700 practice teams (12-15 % of all veterinary practices in the United States and Canada) are AAHA accredited.
