Caring Pathways Hires New General Manager to Lead Growing Operations in Colorado

DENVER, COLO., (February 3, 2021)  — Caring Pathways is excited to announce that Chelsea McGivney, DVM, has been hired to serve as General Manager for the company’s Colorado operation.

The company provides in-home compassionate care for pets as they near end-of-life and may benefit from hospice and palliative care, and in-home euthanasia. 2020 marked the company’s 10-year anniversary and was a year of significant growth. Caring Pathways nearly doubled the size of its veterinarian and support teams and service area to serve clients from Castle Rock to Fort Collins along the Front Range of Colorado.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Chelsea McGivney to our team because she is uniquely qualified to lead our company,” said Caring Pathways CEO, Jeff Lewis, PhD. “Her educational and work experiences, including success as an end-of-life care veterinarian and at Purina, a global leader in the veterinary industry, helped prepare her for a new challenge. But it was her strong commitment to our core values of integrity, excellence, and client experience that made her a perfect match for the position.”

Dr. Chelsea had the following to say about her new appointment: “Whenever asked to consider why I became a veterinarian, I always come to the same conclusion: I have a strong desire to inspire the human-animal bond. I cannot think of another situation in which there is a greater demonstration of that bond between a family and their pet than when having to say a final goodbye. This is the reason that I know joining the Caring Pathways family is the right fit. I’m joining a team whose mission is to provide in-home compassionate care at life’s end so that the families we serve can have a positive and lasting bond that will forever live in their memories.  I could not be more thrilled to be joining this incredible group of compassionate human and animal lovers.”
