Bideawee to Host Monthly Mobile Pet Adoption Events in Wantagh

New York, New York, May 31, 2018 – Bideawee, a leading animal welfare and pet adoption organization serving metropolitan New York and Long Island, today announced that it will be hosting adoption events on the first Sunday of the month starting in June through August at its Wantagh location. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs and cats in the mobile adoption van located at 3300 Beltagh Avenue.

“We have a long history in the Wantagh community and are excited to launch this summer adoption event series,” said Amy Brostoff, director of marketing at Bideawee. “We have adoption experts who can help you find the perfect pet match for your lifestyle. Our knowledgeable volunteers can also provide information on all of the programs and services offered by Bideawee. We look forward to helping Wantagh area residents find their newest furry family members.”

All of Bideawee’s adoptable cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and even behaviorally-tested. It is requested that potential adopters come to the event with a photo ID, a copy of their building bylaws and all members of their household.

Attendees are also encouraged to visit the Pet Memorial Park at Bideawee located in Wantagh. For over 100 years, Bideawee has offered a final resting place for more than 65,000 beloved pets on Long Island.  The Park offers the following memorial services: transportation, private viewing rooms, burial and/or cremation and the placing of seasonal greens and flowers on a pet’s grave.
