Bideawee Hires New Manager of Behavior and Training
New York, New York, Feb. 28, 2018 – Bideawee, a leading animal welfare and pet adoption organization serving metropolitan New York and Long Island, today announced the recent hire of Nora Kogelschatz as the new Manager of Behavior and Training. Nora will alternate among Bideawee’s three locations to provide adoptable animals with the training they need to find their forever homes.
“We are excited to welcome Nora to the Bideawee family, as she has extensive expertise in handling, training and rehabilitating dogs and cats,” stated Leslie Granger, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bideawee. “We are confident that having Nora serve as a resource to our Adoption Centers and soon to the general public will give harder-to-adopt animals the chance to become ideal family pets and help reduce the occurrences of pet relinquishment due to behavior issues.
Nora’s previous roles included Surgical Assistant at Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, Veterinary Assistant at Farmingdale Dog and Cat Clinic, Dog Trainer at Last Hope Inc. and Animal Behaviorist at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter.
